Ida in the tunnel

The dancing queen
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by. The image above shows my daughter dancing. I borrowed a lovely Nikkor 105 f/2 lens from a friend and decided to shoot Ida.
The light was very low, 1/4 sec @ f/3,5, so the images weren’t that great because of the blur. I then realized that I could use the slow shutter to my advantage and asked Ida to start to dance. As you all know – a little bit of blur is a mistake, a lot of blur is artistic
. This is what happened here.
Be happy… see you soon.
Moa and Ella
Last weekend I took Moa and Ella with me on a 30 minute informal photo shoot. They were playing in the snow and I took pictures. They are lovely. They also like to be photographed. Which is great.
For me it’s a treat having people in front of the camera and not only trees and piers
.
Here are a few samples. Hope you enjoy.
Thanks for stopping by.
Laughing
I brought Ida and my SB-600 with a home made Tupperware bouncer to this location. It’s very close to home. I was struggling quite a bit to get Ida to do what I wanted… After a while I realized that when I said “please sit down” she stood up and then the opposite
Strobist info: SB-600 high camera left. Full power. Maybe 1 meter away from Ida.
Ida and the horses
Not far from where we live is a stable with two horses. They are called Sixten and Café. Ida LOVES them.
This shot is taken on our way home from the stable. Ida was not eager to get home. She seldom is… It’s a lot more fun to stay outside. On this particular occasion she just kneed on the road and started playing and fooling around. All of a sudden she stood up again and started walking in the wrong direction. I had to run after her…

Little Ella
This is Ella. This shot is taken on Midsummer’s Eve on our way to the playground.

Ella and Moa
We went to the park yesterday with Jennie’s family to celebrate mother’s day.
Ella, the girl on the left, has caught a spider. Look closely and you’ll find it…
