Hey everyone,

Hope you are doing fine. In this blog post I wanted to show you a before and after. This is not very spectacular but every now and then I feel like I want to do this. I find “before & after” posts of other photographers very interesting myself.

Hi everyone,

This is taken today. It’s for an assignment for The mindful eye web site. The theme for the assignment is “In my backyard”. So this is an image from my backyard.

Let me know what you think.

Ciao.

I went out a few weeks ago trying to shoot more images for my nature Study series. I haven’t had the time to upload any of those until now.

I’m very happy about this series. Not only because I like the images but also since I’m actually working on it. Trying to improve it. I can’t remember how many times I’ve started working on a project/series without even coming something like 10% on its way.

Anyway, we’ll see how long I’ll continue.

For more images from the series visit Flickr. Thanks for stopping by.

Today I tried some still life shooting. Can’t say it was very easy. I also had to do it in a rush since I made the dishes first. Not very clever… Light faded.

Anyway, what do you think? Is it too dark? It’s also slightly warm toned. I’ve always loved dark, warm flower images. I don’t know why. Maybe because it’s just tones. Nothing else really.

I took a few close up’s with my Lensbaby today to. I’ll upload them to Flickr tomorrow. Must go to bed now.

I left the office at around 4:30. Tired. The last couple of weeks have been pretty hectic. Anyway, I left the office and drove down to a place called Bunkeflostrand. It’s pretty close to the sea so I thought I’d try get some ocean views. But the weather was crap — at least if you ask me as a photographer. If you had asked the other people that were running or just taking a walk with the dog they would have said the weather was superb.

Clear blue sky. I had to stay in the shadows. A total lack of inspiration hit me as I parked the car. I thought what am I doing here? So, I went for a unusual lens, the Lensbaby. That lens always surprises and that suited me perfectly today. The session today turned out to be pretty good. A few close-ups of flowers and other stuff. Make sure you view the series here.

Thanks for stopping by.
