Ida in the tunnel

Tree
Brought the camera with me on my lunch break today. It was cold but the light was beautiful.
I like the image but I can’t really decide wether it’s really good or just good. Is it a fine art print? I’ve got no idea.
I need to think about it. Maybe have a close look at it again tomorrow?
Also please have a look at my videos.
Have a good Christmas.
The making of… part 2
Hey folks,
Just to let you know. I’ve come pretty far in planning the second part of the The making of “The End of the World” video. My main concern is to keep it to around 15 minutes
I should be posting it during the weekend. In the future you can expect something like a week between publishing part 1 and part 2.
On a separate note. I got a request today from my local camera club for a 2 h Lightroom and Photoshop session in March. That’s going to be very interesting. I have a feeling most of them are not used to image editing and maybe don’t even realize the advantage and potential image editing can have.
Enjoy and don’t forget to bring your camera where ever you are going.
More city images
Hey folks,
Here’s another set of images from the 1,8 photo walk the other day. I love these kind of photo adventures when I don’t have a plan. the only thing I have decided on is to stick with f/ 1,8 and then based on that see what’ll happen.
It’s actually very good to limit yourself. It boosts your (or at least my) creativity. Try to do this the next time you are out taking images.
We have had VERY grey weather lately. For about a week now I have been hoping for better skies. It’s been a while since I took some good long exposure images. The way the sky is at the moment (no detail at all, just a pure grey sky) it’s just going to be boring images.
Anyway, it will be better someday.
Here’s a link btw that I want to share with you. Alain Briot is a very successful fine art photographer. Have a look at his web site. A lot of useful information.
1.8 photowalk
Yesterday was a real photo day. I spent 1,5 hours after work shooting in Malmö down town. It was of course more or less completely dark so I was stuck with the 50 mm lens and f/ 1.8. It turned out to be a pretty good experience. the shots above are the ones I like the most.
I actually went down to the sea during my lunch break for some long exposure shooting but the weather was totally grey. I took a few shots but they are very uninteresting.
Well, anyway. Since my car broke down this morning I couldn’t get to work. No chance of commuting where I live!! I ended up recording a video, the second episode in the series that I call “the making of”. Unfortunately after finishing the video (25 minute long!!) I found out the sound was bad, really bad. Need to get myself a new mic so that I can rerecord it.
Have a good night.
Happy feet
During July of this year I spent a day together with a friend shooting the not-so-nice side of Malmö.
After a while we came to Möllan. A funny place where all sorts of things can happen. This day was very warm and sunny. As a photographer overcast is preferred. Especially if you are looking to shoot street/city scenes.
However, these two girls were having fun in the sun sitting in the window having coffee. I couldn’t resist taking this shot. It’s not great but pretty funny. I was hoping for one or maybe both of them to lean forward and look at me but they didn’t.

Thanks for stopping by.
