The dancing queen
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by. The image above shows my daughter dancing. I borrowed a lovely Nikkor 105 f/2 lens from a friend and decided to shoot Ida.
The light was very low, 1/4 sec @ f/3,5, so the images weren’t that great because of the blur. I then realized that I could use the slow shutter to my advantage and asked Ida to start to dance. As you all know – a little bit of blur is a mistake, a lot of blur is artistic
. This is what happened here.
Be happy… see you soon.
Show
Hi everyone.
It’s been a while since I last posted something on my blog. Well, I’ve been very busy with work, family and photography (and running
).
Anyway, I wanted to let you know of an upcoming show. It runs between May 29 and June 10. It’s in Malmö, in a park called Pildammsparken. I’ll have three images, the ones you see below. Please stop by if you have the opportunity.

Ida and Hugo
Went to my sisters last weekend to take images of toys. Yes, true. My nephew, Casper, has images of his favorite toys framed and up on his walls in his room. I do this every now and then. I will post a few of these shortly. First Casper has to select which ones he likes the most.
I also took the opportunity to shoot Ida, my daughter and her other cousin Hugo. These two 2,5-year-old’s are amazingly funny. Every time they meet they start running. I got them to stay reasonably still for a few seconds. If you look at these images large you see they are not critically sharp but I don’t care.
Hope you like them. Thanks for stopping by.
Trees (again)
Photo critique – Peter from New Mexico, USA
Hi everyone,
Here’s a photo critique that I did on a beautiful image by Peter from New Mexico, USA (not the UK as said in the video).
This is my first ever review of an image and it was great fun doing it. I’m very glad and want to say a big thank you to Peter for submitting the image. I hope the review is useful for you. Please let me know what you think.
Most of the future reviews will be done in Swedish. I’m recording those for a Swedish photo website called Fotosidan.se.
More trees
Hey everyone,
Here’s another image with trees and motion blur. I can’t help it but I love images like this. As photographers we know this is a photograph of trees but I don’t think it’s clear for the average viewer.
The main purpose of my fine art images is to show the world we live in in a different way and to show that in a relaxing and graphic matter. I think this image full fills those goals.
Thanks for stopping by and please let me know what you think.
Trees in motion
Hey folks,
Here’s an image of some trees. It was a very foggy and rainy day. I was on my way home (in a hurry) from a photo seminar but I had to stop at this location.
The combination of the trees and the fog made this scene very moody and nice. Since it was raining I had to be quick. I don’t know how much rain my D90 can handle but I don’t intend to test to see…
Anyway, I’m very pleased with the result. Thanks for stopping by and please let me know what you think.

Nature study no. 9
Hi everyone,
This is taken today. It’s for an assignment for The mindful eye web site. The theme for the assignment is “In my backyard”. So this is an image from my backyard.
Let me know what you think.
Ciao.
